There is not much to this recipe for shrimp pie, but the results were very good. You can use any size shrimp you like, just remember to remove the tails!
1 lb cooked shrmip 2 slices of bread, crusts removed 2 tbsp. melted butter 3 tbsp. white wine 1/2 tsp. salt a dash of black pepper 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp. ground mace
In a bowl, crumble the bread into fine crumbs. Add melted butter and coat the breadcrumbs well. Set aside half of the crumbs. Add the shrimp and spices to half of the crumbs and blend well. Pour the shrimp mix into a pie pan. Topp with the remaining buttered crumbs. Bake at 350F until lightly browned, about 20 minutes.
