Bosnian cuisine falls right within the spectrum of Balkan cuisine and shows many of its characteristics, including Ottoman influences and a liberal use of dairy products. The Muslim population avoids pork, but it's a popular choice among Christians. The food is rich, homey and satisfying. The cevapcici, Bosnian's version of kofta, are absolutely delicious.
Our menu consisted of several traditional dishes I could find online. It excluded a soup, a very common dish at the Bosnian table, because I couldn't find a recipe that I wanted to make (or more importantly, eat) and that wasn't too heavy for what was already quite a heavy meal. Dessert in Bosnia is mostly fresh fruits or plain cake, so I decided to just skip it and serve very American ice cream instead. I'm sure Bosnians eat ice cream like everyone else.

Grilled Lamb & Beef Meatballs. Served with:- Salad
and followed by:- Tirit
A Bosnian chicken pie, served with:- Fried Eggplant
- Ice cream.
