Mashed Potatoes with Horseradish Cream
Cooking international dishes is about discovery, and last night we found out that mashed potatoes with horseradish taste great. I'm not a particular fan of horseradish, I had to buy a jar for this particular use, but this recipe for mashed potatoes is just awesome.
Mashed Potatoes with Horseradish Cream
Ingredients
- 3 lbs potatoes, peeled and quartered
- salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
- 1 tsp minced parsley
Directions
Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft. Drain and mash. Add butter and sour cream and whip until smooth. Adjust seasoning. Mix in the horseradish and parsley.
