Cauliflower with Brown Butter Crumbs
This is a pretty basic recipe of cauliflower with bread crumbs. My husband thought it was quite good, my daughter prefers the cauliflower plain.
Cauliflower with Brown Butter Crumbs
Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower head
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 3/4 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Steam, boil or roast the cauliflower.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Cook until brown. Add the shallot, the garlic and the breadcrumbs. Stir together and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning. Pour breadcrumbs over cauliflower and serve.
