My friends Charlotte and Vienna and I (and previously Regina, before she abandoned us and moved to NY) get together every month for an afternoon tea. We alternate between our homes and tea houses in the Bay Area. Often it's a purely femenine affair, but sometimes we allow the guys to join us. Our friend and tea-lover Frank is often with us. We have now visited quite a few tea rooms and our favorite is Lovejoy's. We are still exploring, however, and of course we appreciate suggestions.
