In addition to being a mom (the most difficult and exhausting job in the world) I work as the Executive Director of Derechos Human Rights, an internet-based organization which socializes information about human rights and human rights violations and supports the work of local NGOs. I'm doing that on a limited basis right now, however. I also coordinate Proyecto Desaparecidos, an online memorial to victims of forced disappearances in Argentina and other countries. Finally, I maintain the Human Rights Blog.
In my copious spare time I'm involved in local politics through the San Leandro Community Action Network.
Right now, I'm also volunteering with the campaign of Morgan Mack-Rose for San Leandro School Board.
