Brazilian Style Rice

There isn't anything exotic about this Brazilian recipe for rice, but it's good and it was a needed starch to go with the feijoada. Alas, when I made it I allowed the rice to burn a little bit - be careful!

Sauté the onion and garlic in the oil. Add the rice and stir-fry. Add the water and salt. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and cover the pan. Cook until ready, then let rest for 10 minutes.
