Pastries By Edie

pastries

One of the (few) treats of going to LA to visit my parents is stopping by Edie’s for some of their amazing French-style pastries. The pastries are beautiful and delicious, combining richness with lightness and winning flavors. They average about $3 each and the larger ones are big enough to share (if you’re not too hungry). We usually split them four ways so we can all taste a little of each one. We always get them to go, but they are sold off a little European-style cafe that would be a nice place to stop by for a coffee if it was in a nicer neighborhood.

What is the average price for a birthday cake for 50 people at Pastries by Edie?

food was great but service was bad. There were 3 people behind the counter and no other customer but me and she was still not willing to help me wih my questions. The little cakes didn’t have labels nor prices so I was asking what the pastries were made of and she was very rude and not helpful at all. That was my first and last visit there.

I’ve always had a great experience at Pastries by Edie. They’re cakes are AMAZING, and I think they are reasonably priced for the quality in flavor and artwork that’s put into them.
Everyone has their off days. I just know that place is extremely crowded around any holiday and their repeat customers are numerous. Their pastry selection varies from day to day and are not all the same price which is why I’ve always understood the difficulties of namecards with descriptions.
