General Impressions
This is a very new property with well appointed, large, comfortable rooms. It offers basic business services, and while it doesn't have much for tourists, it's a great choice to stay in Cloverdale.
How I chose this hotel
As usual, I went through reviews at tripadvisor.com I settled on this hotel because of the good reviews and the affordable price ($80 for a room, $100 for one with a jacuzzi tub).
The Room
We took a room with a jacuzzi tub. The room was very large. It had a bed with two night tables, a dresser with a mirror, a TV (no VCR or DVD player), a desk and chair, a loveseat and coffee table and the huge spa tub. There was a large dressing area, and a large bathroom, with basic toiletries (including lotion). Others are available free of charge at the desk downstairs. There was a small fridge, coffeemaker and hair dryer.
The room and the bed were very clean and comfortable. The spa tub worked very well and fit two comfortably. I didn't take long to fill.
We had a view of the parking lot and the pool.
Grounds and Facilities
The motel is very modest. There is a small reception area in front, and beside it a small breakfast area. There is a small pool and a jacuzzi tub. There is a gym and business center, but we didn't check them out
The motel is located in an outdoor shopping center. There is a supermarket, a drugstore, a couple of restaurants and other stores nearby.
Services
The motel offers internet connectivity both wired and wi-fi. When we stayed, we couldn't connect through the wired, but wi-fi worked very well and at good speeds. Internet and local phone calls are complimentary.
Breakfast choices included bananas, apples, packaged pastries, and dry cereal.
Final Thoughts
We had a very pleasant stay at Super 8. I'm glad we paid the extra $20 for an extra-large room with a jacuzzi tub. I'd stay there again, and pony up the extra cash for a room with a jacuzzi.
