White Wine Sauce

This recipe is very quick and easy to make but very, very good. Serve over chicken or other light meats.

White Wine Sauce


  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. chopped onion or shallots
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • salt


    In a small pan, melt butter. Add onion and fry until golden. Add flour and stir until smooth. Stir in gradually chicken stock and wine. Serve.
